Make the facts connected
7 × 6 means 7 groups of 6, totaling 42. Adding one more group of 6 gives 8 × 6 = 48.
The factors can swap: 7 × 8 = 8 × 7 = 56. Use whichever order is easier to picture.
Check with division
63 ÷ 7 = 9. The product tells you the total; division finds the number or size of equal groups.
