Kindergarten Math Skill Check
A short check to choose your next practice in three selected skills. Work through the questions, compare your reasoning, then follow the lesson links for anything that needs another look.
What this check covers
- Counting objects without skipping or counting twice
- Finding one more and one less
- Making five with two groups
Allow about 15–20 minutes, with no time limit. Show your working and try without a calculator. An adult may read the questions aloud; counters and drawings are welcome. This check samples three skills taught within the grade. Use it to choose practice, not to assign a grade level.
